Ottobock launches new Kimba Kruze Pediatric Stroller

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (October 18, 2013) Ottobock announces the launch of its new Kimba Kruze pediatric stroller. Designed with an emphasis on transport convenience, the Kimba Kruze is lightweight and folds down into a more low profile and compact package than any other stroller on the market. It also provides greater flexibility for children who have more positioning needs and its notable features and benefits include:

  • More footrest options than competitors
  • Height adjustable and foldable footrest and backrest and height extensions allows the stroller to grow with the child
  • Two positions for backrest angle adjustment for more positioning options
  • Five point padded harness for comfort and excellent positioning
  • Larger wheels (175 / 260 mm) for a smooth, stable ride over a variety of surfaces
  • Wheel lock security

In addition, the Kimba Kruze comes in four sizes and can accommodate children who weigh up to 165 lbs.

"Ease of transport is definitely a top issue when it comes to the impact on quality of life and the design of the Kimba Kruze directly addresses that concern," says Matt Swiggum, Ottobock's Vice President of Mobility Solutions, US HealthCare. "An added benefit is the stroller retains the favorite features that make it sturdy enough for outdoor activities and a busy lifestyle, and we are pleased to bring this superior combination to families who look to Ottobock for their mobility solutions."
