Companies partner to offer TaiLor Made™ prosthetic foot starting in the U.S.

AUSTIN, Texas and ORLANDO, Florida (January 11, 2017) — Ottobock, a global leader in orthotic and prosthetic products, and TaiLor Made Prosthetics have reached an agreement for Ottobock to be the exclusive distributor of the TaiLor Made prosthetic foot globally, starting in the United States.

The innovative TaiLor Made prosthetic foot is designed with toe and heel elements that move independently along with a shock absorbing mechanical spring pack. Unlike traditional preassembled carbon fiber feet, TaiLor Made’s unique Control Hub houses vertical shock springs allowing for easy in-clinic customization and optimization. The pioneering design of independent heel and forefoot movement with shock absorption, enables ankle motion and ground conformance resulting in excellent stability, performance and comfort.
